Got your number? your number, your preference via email Your number will look something like this. Your international and area code will be based on the location you chose. This number can be given out as a fax number and faxes can be received via your virtual fax machine. What does that mean?   By going to your prefernces you can choose how to receive faxes. Your options are to receive them via email, through your chat window or both. By checking the «receive via email» option, faxes will go to the email inbox you've specified in the preferences. Faxes will be received as email attachments that you can open, view and print. via chat window Fax-out headers the sms alert By checking the «receive via IM» option, faxes will be sent to you as file transfers in MSN®. These files will appear to come from your Tamevo contact and they can be opened, viewed and printed. Once you subscribe to Fax-In, you will be able to change your Fax-Out header from your preferences. This lets the recipient know who the fax is coming from. Your mobile number will be used as default but why not make your faxes a little more personal. Don't feel like sitting around waiting for your faxes? You can choose to enable Tamevo's free SMS alert that lets you know when you've received a fax. The alert will come to your mobile phone and will save you the hassle of waiting by the computer.
